Facility Scheduler 3.1 E Update

If you already have Formation Office 2.3 C or higher, you can update the program from the Help Menu.  All other users can manually download the update by following the instructions below.

PART 1 - DOWNLOADING Facility Scheduler UPDATE

Step 1: Download a copy of the Facility Scheduler update.  To download the file, click on the underlined file name above.   This will take you to a registration page.  After completing a short online form, you can begin the download.  When the browser prompts you, select the option to save the file to disk.  Make a note of where you save the file. You will need to use it later in step 5. The download file will not fit on a 3.5 floppy disk!

PART 2 - INSTALLING Facility Scheduler UPDATE

Step 1:  Backup your Facility Scheduler Data.  From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Backup/Restore -  Backup current data.

Step 2: From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Help - About PDS Facility Scheduler. A screen similar
to the one below will appear.  Write down the Program Path as it appears on the About PDS Facility Scheduler
on your computer.

 

Step 3:  Verify that all users have exited the program.  This utility cannot install properly if there are users using
the Facility Scheduler Program.

Step 4:  A windows like the one below will appear.  Carefully read its contents then click on the next button. 

Step 5:  Verify the Program Directory matches what you recorded from Step 2 above. If it does not match, change it so that is does match. Now, click the Next button.

Step 6:  The update has finished installing all the necessary files. Now click on the Finish button.

Step 7:  Open your Facility Scheduler program.  You Facility Scheduler data is being updated to the latest version.  This process may take a few minutes.  Please DO NOT stop this process.

Step 8:  From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Help - About PDS Facility Scheduler.  A screen similar to the one below will appear.  Your version should now match the latest version of the program that appears at the top of this page.. 

Note: After successfully updating Facility Scheduler, you will be able to check for updates directly from the Help Menu.
