How does CASS It! work?

CASS It!* is an online process, which means keeping up with CDs is no longer an issue, and you can CASS™ from any PDS Office workstation. USPS files and directories reside on our servers. You do not have to maintain the directories, and they will never expire. 

Key Features and Benefits

  • Print Form 3553 to take with your bulk mail form to the Post Office.

  • View prompt follow up for "Invalid" addresses. Program includes "suggestion" system showing alternate street names, address information, etc. to help with address correction.

  • Certify addresses from families. Options to include members, prospects and deactivated members.

  • Update PDS address records to include ZIP + 4 and carrier route. Behind the scenes delivery point bar code and line of travel information is stored to help equip users to print bar-coded addresses for discounted mailings.

  • Update your CASS certification with each mailing. If yours is a growing church adding new names often, this is especially helpful.

  • Provide a list of addresses which do not CASS certify for follow-up. Reason codes are provided to facilitate correction.

  • CASS anytime, day or night. Our servers are available 24/7 to process your request.

  • Provide the longitude and latitude for all of your addresses with the optional Geocoding* feature.

  • Ensure you are complaint with the USPS Move Update standard with the optional NCOALink feature*.


* NCOA processing and Geocoding are add-on features to CASS It! and include additional fees to your CASS It! monthly subscription.  The monthly subscription rates for CASS It!, NCOA processing and Geocoding are tiered by the number of addresses processed each month.  PDS Office version 6 is required
