Ledger Management 3.2 F Update

If you already have Ledger Management version 3.1F or higher, you can update the program from the Help Menu. All other users can Manually download the Update by following the instructions below.

Part 1:  Downloading Ledger Management 3.2 F Update

Step 1: Download a copy of the Ledger Management 3.2 F update .  To download the file, click on the button labeled "Download" above.  This will take you to a registration page.  After completing a short online form, you can begin the download.  When the browser prompts you, select the option to save the file to disk. Make a note of where you save the file. You will need to use it later in step 5. The download file will not fit on a 3.5 floppy disk!

Part 2:  Installing Ledger Management 3.2 F Update

Step 1:  Backup your Ledger Data.  From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Backup/Restore - Backup current data.

Step 2: From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Help - About Ledger Management. If your program is not Ledger, STOP!  You cannot use this update!  A screen similar to the one below will appear.  Write down the Program Path as it appears on the About PDS Ledger on your computer.

Step 3: Verify that all users have exited the program.  This utility cannot install properly if there are users using the Ledger Management Program.

Step 4:  A windows like the one below will appear.  Carefully read its contents then click on the Next button.

Step 5:  Verify the Program Directory matches what you recorded from Step 2 above. If it does not match, change it so that is does match. Now, click the Next button.

Step 6:  The update has finished installing all the necessary files. Now click on the Finish button.

Step 7:  Open your Ledger Management program.  Your Ledger Management data is being updated to version 3.2 F. This process may take a few minutes. Please DO NOT stop this process.

Step 8:  From the menu bar on the main screen, choose Help - About Ledger Management.  A screen similar to the one below will appear.  Your version should be 3.2 F.

Note: After successfully updating Ledger Management to version 3.2 F, you will be able to check for updates directly from the Help Menu.
