Students requesting subscription to your account will appear at the top of your screen, allowing you to assign that student to one of your pre-made classes.

Create as many classes as you need and however you like. Add unsubscribed students and invite your students to sign up for their free Chalksite account.

Once you have assigned a subscribed student to a class, their information will automatically be added to that class. You will be able to send messages, post assignments, and post grades to any subscribed student.

Messages can be sent to multiple classes and/or students with Chalksite accounts.

At the top of each discussion page, you will find links to add a comment, go to the assignment (or Weblog entry), close the discussion from further commenting, and delete the discussion all together.

The assignment description, message, or Weblog entry will be listed out above the comments.

Each class or student you include in the discussion will be able to post comments. If a comment needs moderating, you can quickly edit or delete that comment.

Assign each gradebook a title according to period, subject, or however you prefer.

Easily add assignments to your gradebook and determine whether your grades are based on total points or category weights.

Student names automatically list out according to the assigned class.

Simply click on an assignment number to input grades. Click save, and the GPA is automatically computed.
